Environmental Statement
Few Demolition is committed to providing waste management services in a manner that is beneficial to the environment. Few Demolition policy is to contribute to sustainable waste management and recycling practises to the maximum extent practicable, having regard to client and other stakeholder requirements, technical knowledge and economic considerations. The policy is applicable to all Few Demolition operations. The board allocates the resource necessary to ensure full implementation of this policy.
In particular, Few Demolition will:
• Assess the environmental impacts of all its operations.
• Comply with applicable environmental legislation and industry codes of practise.
• Use registered waste disposal companies for removal of all waste streams.
• Promote the use of more sustainable recycling methods and solutions through the supply chain.
• Reduce the use of natural resources and energy.
• Control emissions and prevent pollution and nuisance.
• Manage the production, reuse, recycling and disposal of.
• Raise awareness of environmental issues in waste management and recycling through training and development of all employees, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Limit to a minimum and strive to eliminate all emissions to the atmosphere e.g. dusts and carbon dioxide.
• Stop the use of any chemicals that have a detrimental effect on the ozone layer.
• Consider all environmental impacts of new equipment or new work undertaken.
• Lessen the impact of any nuisance noise and to work within set hours in residential areas.
• Respect all clients’ policies aimed at a better environment.
